Server log files

When you open the page, the upstream web server (reverse proxy) automatically processes access data: date and time of access, the requested address, the HTTP status and the browser identifier you send (user agent). Your IP address is not stored. The purpose is the technical operation, stability and security of the site. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is deleted after 30 days.

Cookies

offcuts.work does not set any cookies.

Hosting

The site is hosted by netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. The host processes the data listed above on my behalf as a processor under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Processing takes place in Germany.

Contact by e-mail

If you write me an e-mail, for example to join the closed beta, I process your e-mail address and the content of your message to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where it concerns taking part in the beta, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. I delete the data once it is no longer needed for that.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Just write to the e-mail address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Düsseldorf.
